This project aims to increase tools for early screening for ASD in the primary care setting using artificial intelligence via an application called MultiSense Autism Screening Index-Children. We have screened toddlers 18-36 months through a play-based assessment to record social-communication behavior of typical children, children with developmental delays, and children with developmental delays and suspected ASD. We are applying for federal funding to develop and finalize the application and test it in real-world settings.
